The MMI display on our SQ5 has decided to stop working. None of the buttons on the centre console will light up when I press them either, and the display on the dashboard does work, but only shows Fuel left etc, and does not allow me to switch to music / sat nav etc. I have tried resetting the system with the three button press, with no luck.
Hi all, Have started to have an issue with the MMI control unit in my 2012 A5 (facelift model). It works fine initially then after about 10-20 minutes it freezes and the lights on the two silver buttons to the right of the large scrolling wheel flash. The controls in the steering wheel still work 1. Delete Wireless CarPlay for the Audi on your phone. Settings, General, CarPlay. Click the Audi_MMI_XXXX and delete it. 2. Disconnect, if connected, the Audi Wifi from your phone. (Settings, Wifi) - make sure you're not connected to it at this time. 3. Update the phone (in my case a iPhone X) to 14.7. A. I have an A5 Sportback SE 2.0 TFSI 2010. my Audi is stuck on MMI initializing launch screen. nothing plugged in no CDs or memory cards connected. I've tried disconnecting the battery and removing the fuse didn't work. has anyone come across this fault and remedied it.
UK: USB ports under armrest not working. I have recently bought an Audi A4 Avant estate 2016 and the two USB ports under the center console aren't supplying any power for charging/data transfer to the MMI (They are the carplay capable usb sockets not charge only). The 12v socket in the front still works too and I have checked the fuses 1-5 on
Hidden menu must be enabled. Turn key into II position and wait for the MMI 3G system to start. You can also use keyless buttons. Press and hold buttons SETUP and CAR. After couple of seconds hidden green menu will appear. You can now release the buttons. Navigate to diagnose > settings > Tel settings misc.
iPod and Audi MMI. My iPod touch was purchased last spring to allow music we had loaded on iPod classics for 2021 Audi Q5 PHEV MMI. It has worked until recent update. It used to automatically be available but now only with signing in. What changed and/or how can I fix that communication problem, It is plugged in, wired.
